About the Cococabana Foam Pool Float 74”

A 74-inch vinyl-coated foam pool float with integrated headrest — no inflation, no pump, no maintenance.

Six feet of closed-cell foam, ready the moment you are. The Cococabana 74-inch is a full-body foam pool float that stays buoyant all day without softening, sagging, or losing air — because there’s no air involved. Grab it from the garage, drop it in the water, stretch out. That’s the entire setup.

The integrated headrest cradles your neck at a natural reading angle without forcing your chin forward. Underneath, dense vinyl-coated foam resists UV rays, chlorine, saltwater, and sunscreen buildup — the combination that destroys cheaper pool floats in a single season. Available in Pacific Blue, Pacific Blue Striped, Pink, and Pink Striped, with your choice of 1.5”, 2”, or 2.5” foam thickness. Thicker foam means more cushion and buoyancy — pick the level that matches how you float.

Each size is lightweight enough to carry one-handed. A luxury pool float that weighs under ten pounds shouldn’t feel like a chore to move, and this one doesn’t.

Five to ten years of use with basic care — rinse after each swim, dry in the shade, store flat or upright. No patches, no annual replacement, no fading by August. For the full routine, see our foam pool float care guide.

The 74-inch is our flagship pool float with headrest — built for pool floats for adults who’d rather keep one good float than replace a cheap one every spring. See how it stacks up in our 2026 buyer’s guide.

Love this float!

We bought this last year for our pool & we absolutely love it! It is truly unsinkable! My granddaughter, 24, was in the pool last week & said that she would love one as a Mother's Day gift so I'm buying it today for her. I have another unsinkable float from a different company that looks like mermaid fins but she didn't want that, she only wanted this one.

Quality pool mat

We live ours but we could have ordered a thinner version and saved some money. Have a plan on where you’ll sore it. It is thick and bulky. That’s not a complaint.

Great Floating

We ordered these to float on the lake in Virginia. So far, they have held up very well.

AWESOME FLOAT. Love the color and it's thick enough to hold at least 225 lbs.

Wow - I am impressed

I live in Texas. It’s HOT. This mat keeps me on top of the water and is comfortable. I have purchased 5 of there through years and decided to go with the bigger one. Honestly, I had a an issue with it. Not because it’s a bad product but because things happen and no product is perfect. But the customer service was perfect. I can not express how incredibly impressed I am with how this company operates. I spent a career of servicing and creating a great customer experience. If I was not retired, I would have traveled to meet this team and learn how they work. Well done.

Thick!

So thick and buoyant! But sometimes hard to get on because I can’t force it under water. Would be excellent for strong heavy men

Worth the price?

I guess the answer is yes. It’s solid and comfortable but I would’ve bought two if the price had been right

Slippery!

My husband and I almost fell when we used it inside and walked on it. It is like walking on ice. Beware!

Not long lasting

Nice floats, very comfortable but they crack after a few years.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the exact dimensions of the 74-inch float?+
The float measures 74" long x 26" wide x 1.5" thick. It's long enough for full-body support for most adults up to about 6'2", with an integrated headrest that adds comfortable neck support.
What colors are available?+
The 74-inch is available in Pacific Blue and Pink, both with a clean striped design. The colors are pigmented through the vinyl coating — they don't fade the way surface-printed patterns do on cheaper floats.
Does the 74-inch float need to be inflated?+
No — that's the whole point. It's made from closed-cell foam, so it's always ready. No pump, no valves, no waiting. Grab it and go.
How long will this float last?+
With basic care — rinsing after use, storing out of direct sun — a vinyl-coated foam float lasts five to ten years. The foam doesn't lose buoyancy and the vinyl resists UV, chlorine, and saltwater. Compared to inflatables that need replacing every season or two, it's a significant long-term value.
What's the difference between the 74-inch and the 70-inch?+
Four inches of length and a slightly wider profile. The 70-inch is a bit more compact and lighter — better for smaller pools or if you prefer something easier to carry. The 74-inch gives you more room to stretch out. Same foam, same quality, same construction.
